Trivett Group, Australia's largest prestige automotive group raised the benchmark in automotive motoring yet again by adding the world's fastest production car ever built to its stable of brands, becoming the exclusive authorised dealer for Bugatti Automobile in Australia.
The announcement of Bugatti comes on the eve of Trivett's showroom launch featuring the Australian debut of the new Bentley Brooklands motor car, and celebrating Bentley Sydney's relocation to the heart of Sydney's CBD.
"In Australia's largest market, we are committed to returning the Bentley brand to its rightful place as one of the world's great luxury brands deserving of the highest standards in every respect," said Trivett Group Executive Chairman Greg Duncan.
Late last year, Trivett Group was selected by Bentley Motors Limited as the exclusive dealer and only authorised service centre for Bentley motor cars in New South Wales and the ACT. With an enviable stable of now 13 prestige brands that includes Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Harley-Davidson, Porsche, BMW and Range Rover among others. The Trivett Group today employs over 500 staff operating predominantly in Sydney.
Trivett's success underscores why "prestige motoring" is more than simply adding the word "prestige" to a dealership name or marketing tagline—it is really about the company you keep.
"Next year we celebrate 25 years of prestige motoring—but I can assure you that we don't only measure our success by the brands we represent. Our success comes from achieving customer loyalty-and we work hard in every business to ensure we earn it every day. We remain committed to representing only the world's finest motoring brands simply because our customers expect more.
Our customers expect a better service and sales experience, a better relationship with our staff, a better value proposition in the market—and they expect to be spoiled by choice. As the official representatives for Bugatti in Australia and New Zealand we now proudly represent arguably one of the world's most desired and iconic motoring brands," said Duncan.
There is no doubt that Trivett means business.
Only last year, Trivett opened a mammoth and landmark automotive site in Alexandria (across from Domayne and Space Furniture) to further establish it's footprint in the City and Eastern Suburbs. The jewel in the crown of the automotive complex would have to be the striking space purpose built for Trivett Harley-Davidson. Recently, Trivett expanded into Melbourne with the opening of its second Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin showrooms.
In another landmark for automotive dealers, Qantas welcomed Trivett to the Qantas Frequent Flyer programme. Trivett is the only automotive dealer afforded the opportunity to provide its customers Qantas Frequent Flyer points in sales, service, parts and accessories transactions.
Today the Trivett Group sells over 7,000 vehicles p.a with a turnover of half a billion dollars. But Trivett prides itself on being considered by prestige vehicle customers as the "Dealer of Choice" and by its staff as the "Employer of Choice".
Trivett is a large business built around fundamental family ethics and expectations. It is apparent to all who know Greg Duncan that he is intimately involved in the day-to-day operations of the Trivett business and is committed to developing a culture of excellence.
